The Diet

Our bodies were created by God to eat certain kinds of food. After the flood, when the vegetation still had to regrow and there would be hundreds of years of unusually cold climate and various possible deficiencies man had no way of filling otherwise (mainly Vitamin B-12), God told man that the animals were permissible as food.

Then, in Proverbs, we are told not to be among “heavy drinkers of wine or excessive eaters of meat (animal flesh).” God knew animal foods were toxic to humans and consuming too much of them would make us sick. But it has taken us thousands of years to figure it out ourselves, and the facts are still getting buried by our collective desire to eat what we’ve grown up eating — the rich foods once eaten only by kings, queens, and the wealthy, and in relative quantities once eaten by those the Scriptures would have labeled “glutton.”

Meat and dairy have been proven time and time again in numerous studies to contribute to and cause obesity, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, kidney stones, gall stones, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, macular degeneration, hypertension, acne, migraines, lupus, depression, and Alzheimer’s. Numerous studies have also shown that changing your diet will reverse or even cure most of these.

So is there some sort of complex chart of what, when, and how much you should eat? Do you have to measure food, count calories, and go hungry?

Absolutely not! This is a very simple eating lifestyle, and has been followed for thousands of years by every sizable and successful people group until recently.

Here are some of the things you’ll be eating. And if you eat as much as you want and make sure you’re completely full, your cravings for the rich and deadly foods you’ve been eating your whole life will start to fade into oblivion.

  • Brown rice
  • Potatoes
  • Corn
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Whole grain pasta
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables

You will be cutting out the stuff that has been making you sick and setting you up for future disease, such as:

  • Meat (this also includes chicken, eggs, and fish)
  • Dairy (this also includes cheese, butter, yogurt, and anything else made out of milk — God programmed weaning into humans and all animals for a reason! It’s almost as deadly as smoking!)
  • Oils (this also includes margarine, and, yes, even olive oil)
  • Artificial additives (such as MSG, called by many other names, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and most of the stuff you can’t pronounce when reading a food’s ingredients)
  • GMO (genetically-modified organisms) — these have been linked to numerous physical issues, since the genetic structures that God created have been mutilated in laboratories by man. The main culprits are corn and soy. If it says “non-GMO” or “organic,” you’re safe.
  • White stuff (white sugar, white flour, and other stuff that’s so drastically processed that it’s no longer the perfect package God created for you to eat.)

That’s it. If you just cook and prepare all your own food at home from the raw ingredients, you won’t have to worry about the second list (the stuff to avoid). Just cook a bunch of food 2 or 3 times a week and heat it as needed.

If you’re worried about nutritional deficiencies, don’t be. Just either get enough sunshine or take Vitamin D3, and take a sublingual B12 supplement three times per week. Other than that, you will be getting more nutrients, not less, and everything you need is in the food God created for you to eat.
