Type 2 Diabetes is “Curable” — Success with Type 1 and Weight Loss

8 Jan

This is my first video on the Starch and Veggies YouTube channel, and is an introduction to what I’ll be sharing with you in upcoming episodes. If you have Type 2 Diabetes, you’ve probably been told you’ll be on medication, maybe even insulin injections, the rest of your life, because it’s incurable. That’s a bunch of bunk. In most cases, Type 2 Diabetes can be completely reversed, and usually very quickly.

I have Type 1 Diabetes, which means, barring a miracle from God, I’ll have to take insulin injections the rest of my life. Can a dietary change help? Are potatoes and corn bad for diabetes? Am I just doomed? Check it out.

I saw one of Denise Minger’s videos where she mentioned about rice diet and affect it has on a person with diabetes. Could you make a screenshot from any tracking calorie/carb apps? I use cron-o-meter. It visually easy to see how many grams of food consumed (including all your macros and micros during whole day/week). Readers of the blog would benefit from this clarity too.
